An early 1950s era Womb chair designed by Eero Saarinen (1910 – 1961) for Knoll. Upholstered in a blue fabric, this Mid Century Modern chair rests upon a black painted metal frame and legs. The chair’s feet have a flat welded design indicative of an early 1950’s production date. Piece is unmarked.

Originally designed in 1946 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll, these classic pieces are still in production today.
