Matthew Norman Swiss Brass Carriage Clock
Item Details
A mid to late 20th century Swiss brass carriage clock by Matthew Norman. This clock features Roman numerals to the clock face with moon hands under a beveled glass cover. The housing is stepped at top and base, with a glass to the top and sides for viewing the works. It features a top bail handle, and exposed gears to the back and sides. It is marked ‘M. Norman, Switzerland, 1742’ and ‘Swiss Made’ to the underside, with another beveled glass cover to the back.
