Antique Chinese Embroidered Silk Jifu Robe
Item Details
An antique Chinese embroidered silk jifu robe. The robe is handwoven silk with embroidery including metallic. Included is blue and metallic gold sayagata pattern with five claw dragon, water, crane, floral and bat motifs. An additional pattern of colorful stripes decorates a part of the sleeves and the bottom portion of the robe. The robe is finished with snap closures and a blue silk lining.
Condition
- rips and shattering to silk; especially to shoulders, silk is heavily worn on sleeves, small holes, discoloration and stains to lining.
