A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Tabriz area rug. This rug features a dense and plushy pile of pink which is ornamented with a mirrored curvilinear floral patterning throughout the center field in light slate blue, petal pink, burgundy, and sage green. The field is bound on four sides by a broad principal border displaying a resolved floral pattern similar to that of the center field and is flanked by two pairs of minor borders in coordinating colors. The rug is finished with a natural warp fringe to both ends.
