Circa 1950s Brass Bunny and Cat Pipe Holders in the Style of Walter Bosse
Item Details
A pair of vintage brass animal pipe holders in the style of Walter Bosse. This selection features playful depictions of a rabbit with a wide eyed expression and erect ears, as well as a pointy-eared cat with a surprised countenance. Each animal presents on its back with all four paws in the air, creating a well or bowl rest. The pieces are comprised of brass, with polished accents at the face, ears, and paws and patinated bodies. Maker’s marks were not visible.
