An original watercolor of a snow covered road by artist Kent Day Coes (American, 1910-2000). This watercolor on paper depicts a snow covered landscape, with a tree lined road and mountains beyond. Artist signed in plate to the lower right. The art is presented under glass in a slim profile silver tone frame, with off-white and light gray mats. It includes a wire to the verso and is ready to hang.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Kent Day Coes is a watercolorist and painter, with a fascination with steam locomotives and railroads, and well known for his landscapes. He studied at the New York University and the Grand Central School of Art, and co-founder, past-President of the New Jersey Watercolor Society. His work is in many private and corporate collections.
