A hand-knotted Turkmen wool area rug in a slightly abrashed palette of deep wine red, orange, midnight blue and black. The supple rug features a pattern of repeating diamond guls with a primary border having a rectilinear design of joined diamonds. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe.
