Vintage Neoclassical Style Crystal and Gilt Metal Chandelier

A vintage Neoclassical style crystal and gilt metal nine-light chandelier. This elegant and impressive chandelier is designed with scrollwork-embossed gilt metal circular bands with crystal strands swagged from the smaller top band to the larger center band from which crystal strands swag to a matching lower band. The lower band is festooned with straight strands of crystals with a stunning feature faceted crystal orb to the center. It features crystal orbs also embellished the top band, hanging from gilt leaf brackets. The nine lights are connected to the center band with gooseneck gilt brackets, the lights having cream candle holders, white pleated shades, gilt bobeche cups with foliate accents. Large scalloped and beveled crystals hang from each of the lights. The chandelier is finished to the top with a short brass chain and round brass tone fluted ceiling canopy. The chandelier was refurbished at Palette Studios in East Walnut Hills.
