1920s Neoclassic Style Mahogany Dining Set
Item Details
A 1920s Neoclassic style mahogany dining set with table and six chairs. The oval table is shown with two extra leaves in, with four additional leaves included as well as table pads (which fit the table as shown). The table is designed with a straight drop apron with reeded medallions above the tapered legs terminating in spade feet. The chairs include five side chairs with straight back splats and swag accents to the top rails and a master armchair with upholstered back and seat. The chair upholstery is a rich green sateen damask. The sideboard is of a compatible design with a back apron accented with a swagged drape, curved front with narrow full width top drawer having fluted elements, two drawers below flanked by two storage cabinets, the upper drawer of the two having a felt-lined divided design for flatware, the drawers embellished with dark brass round bale pulls with furling bow tops. The sideboard has flat sides and tapered legs.
