A watercolor painting on paper by well-listed artist John Hauser (1859-1913). Portrayed with meticulous detail, this fine example of Hauser’s work features two Native Americans canoeing on a river. Conifers line the banks of the placid stream with an atmospheric sun-filled sky to the treelined horizon. The painting is signed to the lower right and is presented under glass and housed in an Arts and Crafts style gilt and gesso frame.
