A signed 1981 edition of A Light in the Attic by Shel Silverstein (American, 1930 – 1999). This group of three books contains a 1981 edition copy of the book A Light in the Attic, signed by its author and illustrator, Shel Silverstein, as well as two other unsigned books.
Silverstein was an American writer known for his cartoons, songs, and children’s books, which have sold over 20 million copies. He was the recipient of two Grammy Awards, as well as Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations. Silverstein also composed original music and had his songs recorded by artists like Johnny Cash, Judy Collins, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson.
The first edition of the poetry anthology Every Thing On It, and the book Who Wants a Cheap Rhinoceros? are also included.
