An antique Ansonia Clock eight-day strike mantle clock. The Neoclassic style pendulum-driven clock has a black lacquered metal case with beveled top trim and base, gold-accented foliate and scrollwork incised decoration to the four corners of the front and to the base, a white face with black Roman numerals and dark brass arrowhead hands and a round glass front cover with bright brass bezel with egg and dark decoration. The clock retains the original Ansonia Clock paper decal to the verso and includes a clock key.
