1930 Fred Rothenbusch Rookwood Pottery Scenic Vellum Vase

Item Details

A 1930 Rookwood Pottery scenic vellum vase decorated by Fred Rothenbusch (1876-1937). The vase is in an elongated urn shape with small raised neck, rounded shoulder and flush base. The vellum glazed vase is in a pale cream matte glaze, decorated with blue and cream trees and landscapes, and accented to the inside with an apricot glaze. The vase is marked with the Rookwood flame double R logo marked pressed to underside of base as well as model number 614L and Roman numerals ‘XXX’ (1930) along with artist’s monogram.
