A collection of matryoshka nesting dolls made in the U.S.S.R. This selection includes nine hand-painted matryoshka and nesting dolls in bold palettes, including a chicken themed doll with ten chicks, a cat doll with ten kittens, and a solid doll, among many others. Several pieces retain a sticker or are stamped ‘U.S.S.R.’ to the underside.
