Vintage Louis XVI Style Armchair and Adjustable Stool

A vintage Louis XVI style armchair and adjustable stool. This lot includes a chair with curved crest rail and padded back joining sloped armrests. The chair has a padded seat rising on tapering, fluted legs topped with rosette stamped blocks. Also includes a cushion top stool with carved apron sides rising on tapering legs joined by a cross stretcher with central finial. The stool features a turn action to the seat for lifting and lowering. There are no visible maker’s marks.
