A hand-knotted Persian Bijar area rug. This rug features a geometric medallion with pendants against a field with an allover Herati pattern and complimentary spandrels, in hues of rose, deep blue, indigo, cream, brick red, and tangerine. It has a main border with roses and a cream ground, flanked by meandering floral guard borders. Ends in short cotton warp fringe.
