Item Details

A vintage Louis XIV style burl wood writing desk. This rectangular top desk with scalloped and beveled edges features a walnut burl wood book matched veneer with corner ormolu mounts and brass bead molding. The table features parquetry inlay apron sides with three aligned drawers and decorative brass handles. The desk rises on cabriole legs with decorative ormolu mounts. There are no visible maker’s marks.
