Vintage Howard Miller Oak Grandfather Clock
Item Details
A vintage Howard Miller oak grandfather clock. The case features an arched, molded cornice above a conforming, shell- and foliate-carved frieze over a single door with two beveled glass panels. The door opens to a brass and silver-tone, moon phase dial with Arabic numerals and reticulated, foliate overlays. The dial is marked ‘Howard Miller’ and the clock is further embellished with half-turned, reed columns continuing to a step-molded base. There are additional manufacturer’s markings on the back as well as the door interior, the latter of which bears the serial number ‘649039’. Additionally, there is a registration plaque, ‘December 24, 1989’. The clock comes with a winding key, a pendulum, three weights, and a door key.
