An oil painting on canvas by known French artist Michel Cordi (20th century). The painting depicts a folk art style saloon as the sign on the front of the glass door reads “BAR” in reverse. An early 20th century parlor scene takes place as patrons enjoy drinks and cigars while a man plays the piano and three waiters sing along. Signed in the lower middle. The work is presented without mat or glass under a two tone black and brown frame.
Condition
- puncture mark above the waiters head to the upper left of the image surface; indentation in the canvas to the middle lower left, under the table.NOTE: these imperfections are reflected in the pic 3 image.
