Item Details
A pair of antique Villeroy & Boch hunting scene majolica plates. Each plate features a central hunting scene design finished in a green glaze. The design is accented with a yellow and brown gradient relief molded border of rifle and dog motif cartouches and a scalloped edge. No discernible maker’s marks are noted, which are typical of wares during the 19th century. The undersides bear an impressed pattern number.
