Enameled and Brass Phone Dial Compact after Elsa Schiaparelli and Salvador Dali
Item Details
An enameled and gilt-metal phone dial compact after Elsa Schiaparelli and Salvador Dali. This Art Deco design was originally created in the 1930s, a collaboration between the two iconic figures. This particular version appears to be a later production, circa 1950s, and features brass construction enameled with a rotary phone dial motif to the hinged lid, which opens with a push button to reveal a mirror to the interior of the lid.
