A hand-knotted Persian Ardekan Kashan room-sized rug. This rug features a round medallion with palmettes extending into a main field patterned with tendrils sprouting palmettes and flowers in a color palette of indigo, ivory, orange, crimson, lime, evergreen, deep blue, yellow ochre, and burgundy. It has a main deep blue border with palmettes and floral spray, flanked by ivory borders. Ends in short cotton warp fringe.
