Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame "Welcome Light-Up Theatre Sign" Display COA

Item Details

An interesting and unique light-up ‘Welcome Theatre Sign’ from the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum. This exhibit sign was located on the first floor of the Reds Hall of Fame building. Constructed of a durable plastic or resin with wood materials, this theatre exhibit sign reads ‘Welcome To The Hall of Fame Theatre.’ Highlighting and commemorating Cincinnati Reds history, this exhibit sign depicts the scoreboard at Crosley Filed in its background, representing Johnny Vander Meers ‘first no-hitter’ that was pitched on June 11, 1938. The scoreboard featured on this display is an exact reproduction as it looked on that historic day. Many of the fans in the ballpark did not realize that Johnny was throwing a ‘no-hitter,’ due to hits that were not shown on the Crosley Field scoreboard. A letter of authenticity from the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame will accompany this item.
