Power-Loomed Karastan Samovar Collection "Persian Vase" Wool Palace Sized Rug

A power-loomed Karastan Persian Vase palace sized rug from the ‘Samovar’ collection, in a patented ‘teawash’ finish. This wool pile rug is rendered in a palette of mauve, mint, aqua, rose, cranberry, indigo, wheat, olive, tangerine, and custard. The field is densely populated with an allover pattern comprised of palmettes, floral racemes, and lotus blossoms in a lattice design. Framing the field are floral meander guard and secondary borders, while the primary border features an elaborate tree of life motif over cranberry. The rug is finished with serged selvedges and applied wool fringe. A label to the reverse reads ‘Woven in USA’.
