Cast Zinc and Molded Copper Running Horse Weathervane, 19th-Century

Item Details

A late 19-century running horse weathervane with cast zinc head and molded copper body. The weathervane attached to a long black iron metal pole with a two-prong stake at the end. The ‘N’ directional position is missing from the weather vane.

Condition

Good to fair as the “N” for North direction is missing from the weather vane. There is some verdigris to the patina throughout.
