A large 1981 Best Record In Baseball exhibit plastic sign from the Hall of Fame. This exhibit display represents the scoreboard at historic Riverfront Stadium at the end of the 1981 baseball season. In 1981, the Cincinnati Reds recorded the best record in Major League Baseball and did not play in the World Series. The 1981 Major League Baseball season had a players’ strike, which split the season into two halves. Constructed of a durable plastic, this sign depicts white lettering on a black foreground. A letter of authenticity from the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum will accompany this item.
