Antique Rococo Revival Brass Mantel Clock
Item Details
An antique brass Rococo Revival patinated brass cased mantel clock. The clock features an urn finial with scrolled and foliar decoration abound the brass bezel. The face has Roman numeral hour markers with spade hands, and a small key arbor. The clock is supported by two columns, between which stands a small putti holding a flame torch. The clock rises on curved and scrolled legs with a cast embossed base. The works have a spring-driven mechanism with winding key, and it is marked with a patent date of 1891.

Condition
- metal discoloration, tarnish and accretion with loss of finish. The clock includes a winding key, but the key does not turn. Painted elements have loss of finish. Oxidation around pin holding hands in place. The face is slightly off center.
