A 1962 cloth on board of Treasures of the Vatican by Maruizio Calvesi translated from Italian by James Emmons, with an introduction by Deoclecio Redig de Campos. The book was published in Switzerland by Editions d’Art Alber Skira and it is Illustrated with 120 tipped in plates, 85 of which are in full color. The book is bound in the original full red cloth with the title stamped in gilt on the front and spine. An article from a September 25, 1966 edition of the Fort Lauderdale News and Sun-Sentinel is tucked in the front cover. It was written by Vincent Price, American Actor (1911-1993) and he compares the artistic traits of Michelangelo and Bernini and their presence at St. Peter’s

- overall in good shape, consistent with age. Some of the tinted plates were sticking together, some have slight scuffs. Light yellowing and foxing. Some wear to the corners. Some stains, dust marks to the cover.
