A hand-knotted Indo-Persian rug. This wool rug features a star shaped medallion in a palette of orange, gold, black, pale olive, emerald, taupe, chocolate, powder blue and cream over a blue lozenge shaped fiel. The field is encased by a unresolved samovar border in a similar palette. The rug terminates in natural warp fringe to either end. The rug is unmarked.
