Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Heriz Serapi rug. This wool rug features an elongated crenellated lozenge in rust over an ivory field with three vertically arranged polygonal pendant medallions. Flanking the medallions are floral and foliate motifs connected by rectilinear vine work in indigo, ruby, powder blue, green, and white. The field is framed by an unresolved samovar primary border in the field colors. The rug finishes with cotton warp fringe to each end. Unlabeled.
