Signed John Derian Handmade Plates
Item Details
A pair of signed John Derian handmade decoupage plates. The larger square platter is titled, Italian Geometric Square Maze originating from 17th century Italy and the round plate is titled, #10 Nautilus Shells . The background of this plate is hand painted and the shell image is from the late 19th century. Each decoupage piece is handmade in his New York studio using the reproduced imagery from John Derian’s vast collection of antique and vintage prints. His staff of artisans cut and collage the designs onto handblown glass.
