Semi-Antique Hand-Knotted Persian Ferahan Palace Sized Runner

A semi-antique hand-knotted wool palace sized runner. This long rug is rendered in an abrash palette of indigo, ivory, sepia, cobalt, wine, carnation, mocha, and apricot. The indigo hued field features a lattice design comprised of stylized floral motifs including bouquets, arrangements, and an abundance of blooms. Framing the field is a rose to apricot grounded main floral meander border, along with a carnation meander guard border, and a stylized laleh abbasi guard border. Finishing this rug are hand wrapped edges and a wool warp fringe to the ends with a binding to the underside. It is unlabeled.
