A handwoven Indian Agra-style wool soumak. This chain-stitched area rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, black, taupe, ivory, wheat, olive, and sand. The cranberry colored field features an allover herati design, while framed in a main black grounded stylized herati border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
