Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Isfahan area rug. This rug features a central round medallion with palmettes and pendants extending out into the field. Palmettes and flowers on sprawling tendrils are scattered across a beige to tan ground, in a color palette of azure, indigo, cream and taupe. The rug has a blue-grounded guard border with a meandering floral primary border, and ends in short cotton warp fringe.
