Cincinnati’s own Johnny Vander Meer was the story in this All-Star game, pitching his two back-to-back no-hitters, less than a month before this game. The verbiage describes the game played at Crosley Field and gives the names of famous players who participated. A letter from the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum will accompany this item.
