Chinese Export Style Reproduction Bowls including Limoges and Mottahedeh

A Limoges French reproduction historic bowl with two diplomatic reproduction bowls. The Limoges bowl is a Limoges a reproduction of a historical bowl in the Reeves Collection at Washington & Lee University. The bowl is hand painted with historic scenes and written fo each side is ‘Arms of Liberty’. The underside of this bowl is marked ‘Reeves Washington and Lee University Collection; Limoges-France’. Also included is an oval Mottahedeh porcelain dish designed for diplomatic reception rooms Department of State, originally made as a Chinese export for America, reproduced from 1810, along with a round bowl that was adapted from Chinese export reproduce from the period circa 1812. Both bowls are marked to the underside ’Mottahedeh VA (Vista Alegre) Portugal.
