This work features some Native Americans canoeing on a stream, distantly visible throughout a woodland area. The work is signed and dated to the lower right. It is not matted and remains unframed. Marks to the verso indentify the board as Windsor & Newton’s Fashion Plate Board.

- tear to lower left corner of paperboard; wear to edges of painting and paperboard; minor accretion and scuffs scattered throughout painting.
