A vintage set of ‘Wm. Rogers’ silver plate flatware. This set in the Allure pattern includes eight dinner knives, four dinner forks, four salad forks, eight cocktail forks, eight dinner spoons, sixteen teaspoons, seven iced tea spoons, one casserole spoon, one butter spreader, one cold meat fork, and three serving spoons. The undersides of the pieces are marked, “Wm. Rogers MFG. Co. Extra Plate Original Rogers.” The set is presented in a wooden flatware chest finished in a natural wood stain and lined to the interior with a red felt-like material. Also included are four Columbine silver plate forks and four International Sterling spoons in the Silver Melody pattern. The total approximate weight, inclusive of all materials, is 5.220 ozt.
