Antique McClellan Cavalry Style Army Saddle
Item Details
An antique cavalry style horse saddle model 1904 McClellan United States Army. This piece features the original girth strap with wood stirrups. The saddle is marked size ‘12 Inch Seat’ but is otherwise unmarked. Circa 1906-1917, this antique compact riding saddle was created by George B. McClellan for the United States Army in 1858, McClellan saddles were used from the Civil War to World War I.
