An antique leather horse riding, model 1904 McClellan United States Army saddle. This compact piece features the original seat and hardware and is unmarked. Developed by George B. McClellan for the United States Army in 1858, McClellan saddles were used from the Civil War to World War I. Circa 1906 1917. Please see coordinating item 18CIN473-073 in this sale.
