A vintage wood carved nail fetish sculpture from the African Congo Basin. The piece depicts a two-headed crocodile with nails to its back and legs and is thought to have Nkisi (or spirits) inhabiting within. It originates with the Yambo tribe of the Bakongo peoples of central Africa. The work is unsigned and unmarked.

- chips to the wood, with a large chip to the ear.
- metal nails are rusted.
