Item Details
A handwoven Mexican wool area rug. This flatweave rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, ivory, black, camel, and charcoal. The crimson hued field begins with a central branched medallion flanked by smaller coordinating medallions, as well as striped arrow forms. Framing the field is a band of stripes to the ends. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends.
