Item Details
A circa 1910 antique handwoven silk crepe formal crested furisode kimono, hand decorated with yuzen resist dyed design, surihaku metallic gold leaf and metallic gold couching embroidery accents. The kimono presents an elaborate design featuring crane, mountain, chrysanthemum, hats of pine, bamboo leaf, plum blossom, ox carts, and architectural motifs. The architectural features are accented in asanoha, kiri, shippo and tatewaki patterns. Red silk and yuzen resist dyed silk crepe line the interior.
