Seasonal Department Store Props from "Carol" Movie

A grouping of seasonal decor for the fictitious “Frankenberg’s” department store made for the movie Carol starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. The items are of the Christmas season decorations and include a Santa hat that was used as a back-up for Therese, two boxes including one ’Frankenberg’s’ blue and yellow rectangular box and a Paulette Millinery hat box, wrapping paper, two glass ornaments, 33 1/3 records, decorative tinsel, and a Christmas tree cookie cutter. Per consignor the items were rented to be used as props for the Oscar nominated 2015 film Carol, filmed in Cincinnati, Ohio, in which a 1950’s toy department was recreated. The items can be seen in “Frankenberg’s Department Store” in the scene where Therese Belivet meets Carol.
