A circa 1910 antique handwoven silk damask kimono, hand decorated with yuzen resist dyed design. This deep red matsu pattern damask silk kimono features a fan, chrysanthemum, plum blossom, peony, paulownia tree, shima and bridge motifs rendered in taupe, pink, grey, red, yellow and black colors. It is lined in off-white cotton and red silk.
