A vintage pair of 1300 series lounge chairs by Bill Stephens for Knoll International. Known as “Stephens Chair,” these pieces were originally designed between 1965- 67 for the Yale School of Architecture lounge. Their walnut frames scroll back before splitting to continue straight down for the back legs, and curving forward for the armrests, and again for the front legs. The shells are upholstered in a red-orange material with removable back and seat cushions.
