A large impressive metal exhibit sign from Riverfront Stadium. This display sign depicts the 1934 Cincinnati Reds, the ‘First Team To Travel By Air’ in Major League Baseball. In 1934 the Reds took an ‘American Airways’ flight from Cincinnati to Chicago, becoming the first team to travel by air. Six players on that historical day did decide to take a bus to the game in Chicago. This exhibit sign represents mages of the plane and the 1934 Reds team. A letter of authenticity from the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame Museum accompanies this item.
