A vintage circa 1940 handwoven meisen silk haori jacket. This black, red and off-white haori features a handwoven motif in the style of Wish Fulfilling Jewel cintamani, a Buddhist motif. A yuzen resist dyed silk lines the shoulders and sleeves.

- minor wear on the thread, basting threads from cleaning still attached.
