A set of 19th century English Chippendale style upholstered side chairs. This pair of chairs features a curved crest rail over a shaped, pierced and carved back splat above an upholstered seat with brass nail head trim in a swag motif. The chairs rise on Marlborough legs joined by H stretchers. The chairs include removable back cushions. There are no visible maker’s marks.
