Item Details
A circa 1940s vintage Japanese handwoven silk damask furisode kimono, hand decorated with yuzen resist dyed design, surihaku metallic gold leaf and metallic gold couching embroidery accents. This orange wave pattern damask silk kimono features peony, chrysanthemum and plum blossom motifs rendered in a rich green, turquoise blue, teal green, orang, salmon, goldenrod, sapphire and off-white color palette. It is lined in white silk and orange silk damask.
